Quiet Valley Farm
Museum. Quiet Valley Farm is a historic working farm that is operated as an open-air museum. Open seasonally, costumed interpreters operate the farm and explain family life from the 1760s to 1913.
The farm is a national historic district located at Hamilton Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It includes nine contributing buildings located on a homestead purchased by Johan Peter Zepper (Topper) in 1765. It remained in the Zepper family until 1958, and is now operated as a 19th-century living history farm known as the Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. Contributing buildings are the main house (c. 1765), springhouse (c. 1765), bank barn (1850), frame wash house, fruit drying house, smoke house, ice house, storage shed, and wagon shed.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.[1]

Stroud Mansion
Building in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Stroud Mansion is a historic home located at Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1795, and is a 3+1⁄2-story building with pedimented gable roof and a 2+1⁄2-story rear wing. The main section measures 50 feet by 40 feet, with the rear wing measuring 28 feet by 24 feet, 4 inches. It was built by Stroudsburg's founder Jacob Stroud for his son John. It remained in the Stroud family until 1893, although leased for use as a store and as a boarding house. It now houses the Monroe County Historical Association.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.[3]
Monroe County Courthouse
Courthouse. Monroe County Courthouse is a historic county courthouse located at Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The original section was built in 1890, and is a three-story, ashlar sandstone and limestone building measuring 65 feet wide and 180 feet long. It is in the Romanesque Revival style. An identically sized addition was built in 1934, as a Public Works Administration project.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.[4]

Kitson Woolen Mill
Kitson Woolen Mill, also known as the Holland Thread Company building, is a historic woolen mill complex located at Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The complex consists of four brick buildings built between 1893 and 1904. They are arranged in a "U"-shape and consist of the "East Wing," "West Wing," boiler house, and office. The Kitson Woolen Mill was in operation until 1928, after which the mill was occupied by the Holland Thread Company until 1978.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.[5]
