Bellver Castle

Hilltop 1300s castle for panoramic views. Bellver Castle is a Gothic-style castle on a hill 3 km to the west of the center of Palma on the Island of Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. It was built in the 14th century for King James II of Majorca, and is one of the few circular castles in Europe. First serving as the residence of the Kings of Majorca, and afterward long used as a military prison throughout the 18th to mid-20th century, it is now under civilian control, being one of the main tourist attractions of the island, as well as the seat for the city's History Museum.[1]

Es Baluard
Modern and contemporary art collection. Es Baluard Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma, located in Palma and inaugurated on 30 January 2004, has a reserve of more than 700 works of art linked to artists from the Balearic Islands and/or of international renown.
As well as conserving and publicising its collection, Es Baluard runs a programme of temporary exhibitions, cultural activities and educational and training cycles. The main artists and movements related to the Balearic Islands form a body which took shape after the initial presentation of the collection which was made in the year the museum opened. Since then, the original nucleus of the museum’s reserves – made up of donations and the deposit of works by the Art Serra Foundation (Fundació d’Art Serra), as well as works deposited by Palma City Council (Ajuntament de Palma), the Council of Mallorca (Consell de Mallorca) and the Government of the Balearic Islands (Govern de les Illes Balears) – has been added to as a result of the introduction of further works that have been acquired, donated and temporarily ceded by artists, collectors and entities.[4]

Palma Aquarium
Aquarium with huge shark-viewing tank. Palma Aquarium is a commercial aquarium and park that first opened in 2007 in Palma, Mallorca, Spain. The aquarium is the property of Coral World International. The aquarium is 500 m from Playa de Palma beach, and includes 55 tanks which are home to over 700 different species from the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. One tank, "Big Blue" is 8.5 m deep, the deepest shark tank in Europe, and it also contains the largest collection of live coral in Europe The park was awarded "Best Business Initiative in the Balearics 2007", awarded by Actualidad Económica magazine, and was awarded the "2007 Accessibility Prize" by the Consell de Mallorca.
The aquarium organises environmentally focused activities, and takes part in protection and conservation campaigns.
Palma Aquarium has more than 400,000 visitors every year, with an average of over 1000 visitors a day. 50% of its visitors are local and national, while the rest are mainly of European origin. Palma Aquarium has received several awards, including the “Best Business Initiative in Balearics 2007” award, awarded by Actualidad Económica magazine and the “2007 Accessibility Award”, awarded by the Consell de Mallorca.

Gran Hotel
Cultural center in Palma, Spain. The Gran Hotel is a former historic hotel in Palma de Mallorca, in Spain. It is part of the historic centre of the city. The hotel was designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and completed in 1903. Today the building has been converted into a cultural center, home to the Fundación la Caixa. It contains a permanent exhibition of paintings by Anglada Camarasa. The building is one of the most important examples of Modernisme on the island, with a facade lavishly decorated with sculptures and ceramics.[6]

Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró

Museum in Palma, Spain. The Fundació Miró Mallorca is a museum in Palma de Mallorca, dedicated to the work of the artist Joan Miró. It comprises a main building exhibiting 6000 works donated by the artist, including paintings and sculptures, a library, a sculpture garden, Miró's studio Sert, and the Finca Son Boter.
Miró's mother and wife were from Majorca. He settled on the island in 1956. The studio Sert was designed for Miró by Josep Lluís Sert in the same year and was used by the artist until his death in 1983. In 1959 Miró bought the nearby Finca Son Boter which he also used as an atelier; his graffiti on the walls can still be seen. The foundation was created in 1981 by Joan Miró and his wife Pilar Juncosa. The museum, designed by Rafael Moneo, was built in 1992.[8]

Visit Mallorca Stadium

Stadium in Spain. Visit Mallorca Stadium is a football stadium located in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, and serves as the home ground of RCD Mallorca. It is the largest stadium in the Balearic Islands and the 26th largest in Spain. The stadium was renamed during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in a conjoined effort with Consell de Mallorca, and other public entities to reactivate tourist activities on the island, its main resource.
The stadium is located in the Can Valero industrial zone in north-west Palma, 3 km from the city center and 13 km from the airport. It can be seen from the Vía de Cintura, Palma's urban motorway. Previously known as the Son Moix Stadium (Catalan: Estadi de Son Moix, Spanish: Estadio de Son Moix), the Iberostar Stadium (Catalan: Iberostar Estadi) and the Ono Estadi, the stadium was built for the 1999 Summer Universiade. In 1999, RCD Mallorca obtained an agreement with the city council to use it for the next 50 years, replacing their previous stadium, Estadio Lluís Sitjar.
The stadium can hold 23,142 spectators, making it the biggest stadium in the Balearic Islands. It has a bowl shape design with two of the stands having two tiers. The stadium was designed to allow for further development of both ends, eventually creating a fully two-tiered stadium with a capacity of over 40,000. These plans now look unlikely as further detailed below. A small temporary stand is sometimes erected on the athletics track; this can be removed for athletics events.[9]

Paseo Sagrera
The Paseo Sagrera is a street c. 500 m long in Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the Balearic Islands, Spain. It was built in 1910 for the Balearic Regional Exhibition. The street extends from the beginning of Av. Antonio Maura - along with the Muelle Viejo - to the torrent of the Riera. The Lonja de Palma de Mallorca is located on the street.
