Museum in Miami County, Indiana. The International Circus Hall of Fame is a museum and hall of fame which honors important figures in circus history. It is located in Peru, Indiana on the former grounds of the Wallace Circus and American Circus Corporation Winter Quarters, also known as the Peru Circus Farm and Valley Farms. The property includes rare surviving circus buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and was designated a National Historic Landmark for its historical importance.[1]

Miami County Courthouse

Courthouse. Miami County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Peru, Miami County, Indiana. It was built between 1908 and 1910, and is a three-story, steel frame, concrete, and brick building sheathed in a veneer of Bedford limestone. It features a projecting portico with freestanding two-story Tuscan order columns in the Classical Revival. The building has a flat roof topped by a squat four-sided square dome. The property includes an additional 33 contributing object such as a bell with stand, "Lady Liberty" statue, retaining wall, 12 architectural lamps, and 6 street lamps.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.[2]

Historical place in Miami, Florida. James Omar Cole House, also known as the Cole House, is a historic home located at Peru, Miami County, Indiana, United States. It was built about 1883, as a 1+1⁄2-story, Second Empire style brick dwelling. It has a square plan with two projecting bays and a mansard roof with dormers.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.[3]

Shirk-Edwards House

Shirk-Edwards House is a historic home located at Peru, Miami County, Indiana. It was built about 1862, as a two-story, Italianate style brick mansion. It was renovated in 1921 in the Classical Revival. It rests on a limestone foundation and has a low-pitched hipped roof. The front facade features a full-width, two-story porch supported by four full and two engaged columns.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.[4]

Peru High School Historic District

Peru High School Historic District is a historic school complex and national historic district located at Peru, Miami County, Indiana. It encompasses the Classical Revival style Central Grade School, Collegiate Gothic style Industrial Arts Building, and Art Deco style former high school. The high school was built as a Works Progress Administration project along with the Tig-Arena and is a two-story masonry building. The school yard is considered a contributing site. The high school remained in use as a high school until the new Peru High School was built in 1969–1971. Since 1990, the buildings have served as headquarters for the Miami Nation of Indiana.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.[5]
