Theodore Roosevelt's Maltese Cross Cabin
Museum in Medora, North Dakota. The Maltese Cross Cabin is a cabin used by Theodore Roosevelt, before he was President. The cabin is currently located at the visitor center at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, just outside the town of Medora, North Dakota.[1]

Billings County Courthouse
The Billings County Courthouse in Medora, North Dakota was built c.1880 and was remodeled in 1913 with architect John Tester. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
According to its NRHP nomination, the courthouse "symbolizes the orderly administration of justice in a county which is one of the least populated in North Dakota. The structure is also a physical link with the first years of settlement in the region, its core being formed from a building believed to date from the 1880s."
The Billings County Museum has been located in the former county courthouse since 1986. Exhibits include a collection of barbed wire, fencing, farm and automotive tools, guns and weapons, military artifacts, horse riding and Western items, and displays of ethnic items from area pioneers. Visitors can also view the restored courtroom and jail, and a period bunkhouse, general store and kitchen. The museum is operated by the Billings County Historical Society.[2]

Medora Musical
Live music venue in Billings County, North Dakota. The Medora Musical is a musical revue that produced each summer at the open-air Burning Hills Amphitheater near Medora, North Dakota, US. The musical is a look back at the "Wild West" days of the region and includes references to Theodore Roosevelt, who spent time in western North Dakota, including in the nearby Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
The musical premiered at the amphitheatre in 1965 and is the successor to earlier shows about Roosevelt. Expected attendance for 2017 is estimated to be reach above 116,000.[3]

Von Hoffman House
Building in Medora, North Dakota. The Von Hoffman House at Broadway and 5th St. in Medora, North Dakota was built in 1884. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. The listing included one contributing building and one contributing structure.
Known also as the Medora Doll House, it is a common-bond brick house that is a work of Peter Book, who owned and operated a Medora brick factory in the mid-1880s. Peter Book was also a builder of St. Mary's Catholic Church, which is also NRHP-listed.
The home was commissioned by the Marquis de Mores for Louis von Hoffmann and Athenais von Hoffman, the parents of his wife Medora von Hoffmann.[4]

The Chateau de Mores in Medora, North Dakota, United States, is a historic home built by the Marquis de Mores in 1883 as a hunting lodge and summer home for his family and guests. The home is now part of the 128-acre Chateau de Mores State Historic Site, which also includes Chimney Park and de Mores Memorial Park.[5]
