Rahr West Art Museum
Art museum in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The Rahr–West Art Museum is an art museum on U.S. Route 10 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. It is located in the Joseph Vilas Jr. House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house is a significant example of Queen Anne style architecture in the United States.[1]

Lincoln Park Zoo
Free zoo with native and barn animals. Lincoln Park Zoo is a small municipal zoo located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The zoo has just under 200 animals, including black bear, bald eagle, cougar, lynx and others. It is situated along the Little Manitowoc River and provides a deck for viewing ducks, geese, sandhill cranes, and many other birds that gather along the river.[2]

Wisconsin Maritime Museum
Museum in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is a museum in the Lake Michigan port and shipbuilding city of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, U.S. that preserves and teaches about the history of the Great Lakes. Founded in 1968 as the Manitowoc Submarine Memorial Association, the facility opened in 1969 in the former YMCA of Manitowoc. In 1991, it relocated to a new, 16,000-square-foot building. The museum is the site of a large collection of Great Lakes maritime history, original artifacts, and nautical archaeology, including stories of the many well-preserved shipwrecks of Lake Michigan.
The museum was founded by former submariners and civic leaders who wanted to bring a World War II submarine to Manitowoc to commemorate the role the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company played in building twenty-eight Gato and Balao-class submarines and landing craft that were used to fight that war. In 1970, the United States Navy donated USS Cobia to the museum. Cobia is a Gato-class submarine like those constructed in Manitowoc. Cobia is berthed in the Manitowoc River adjacent to the museum and is open to both museum visitors and overnight guests.[3]

Manitowoc Breakwater Light
Lighthouse in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The Manitowoc Breakwater Light is a Lake Michigan lighthouse located near Manitowoc in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, at the end of the north pier defining Manitowoc's harbor.
It is not to be confused with the smaller and complementary south pier navigational beacon, which was unmoored and swept out into the lake on January 7, 2019, during a period of heavy waves and lakeshore flooding from gusty winds. The beacon will be replaced as soon as possible.[4]
USS Cobia

Cobia was designated a National Historic Landmark for her service in World War II, which included service in the Pacific, where she earned four battle stars. She is now a museum ship at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.[5]

St. James' Episcopal Church
Episcopal church in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. St. James' Episcopal Church, named for James the Greater, is a historic Episcopal church located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The only Episcopal church in Manitowoc County, St. James' is a "broad church" parish in the Diocese of Fond du Lac. It is the oldest continually operating congregation in Manitowoc County, first meeting in 1841. and organizing in 1848. The current church building, an example of Gothic Revival architecture, was consecrated in 1902. The congregation is active in community service and social justice ministries.[6]
