Hudson Gardens

Event venue in Littleton, Colorado. The Hudson Gardens & Event Center is a botanical garden and event venue located in Littleton, Colorado, 12 miles southwest of Denver. The property is composed of thirty acres of garden exhibits, trails, natural terrain, and event venues.

The gardens opened to the public in June 1996. In 1999, the venue began to hold its annual "Hudson Gardens Summer Concert Series". The concert series is held at the 3,250-seat Hudson Gardens Concert Amphitheater, a temporary stage located on the Grassy South Lawn.[1]

The Littleton Main Street is a historic district located along W. Main Street, from South Curtice Street, to South Sycamore Street in Littleton, Colorado. The district dates from 1890. The nineteenth century buildings are red pressed brick, many with stone foundations and trim. These buildings replaced smaller frame structures from the pioneer era and proclaimed the success of their builders through solid construction and application of exterior ornament.[3]

Geneva Home

Building in Littleton. The Geneva Home, at 2305 W. Berry Ave. in Littleton, Colorado, is a one-and-a-half-story Craftsman-style frame house. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

In 1927 the International Geneva Association purchased the property of what is now the Geneva home. It was a working farm before it was bought in 1927. It was used as a recuperative care facility for hotel and restaurant workers. The City of Littleton bought the property in 1975, and it fell into disrepair for over 20 years while the building was used as storage and the city planned on demolishing it, until it was saved from demolition.[4]

Home in Littleton. The Knight-Wood Home is a home located at 1800 West Littleton Blvd in Littleton, Colorado. It is a one and half story house built in 1925. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

It was deemed notable as a fine example of a Craftsman-style house, having all five of the identifying features of the type: low-pitched, gabled roofs; "wide, unenclosed eave overhangs; decorative beams or braces under the gables; full or partial porches with roofs supported by square tapered columns; and columns or pedestals that extend to the ground level without a break at the porch level."

A second contributing building in the listing is the original garage.[5]
