Bridge. The Wakato Bridge, is a suspension bridge in Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka, Japan. Opened on September 26, 1962, it has a 367-meter main span and is two kilometers long. The name of the bridge comes from the characters of the Kitakyūshū wards of Wakamatsu and Tobata that the bridge connects across Dokai Bay.[6]

Museum in Kitakyushu, Japan. The Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art is located in Tobata-ku, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Designed by Arata Isozaki, it sits on a hill straddling the three wards of Kokura Kita, Tobata, and Yahata Higashi. The museum houses more than 6,000 pieces of art, as well as offering various exhibitions throughout the year. The surrounding park not only offers a pleasant view over Tobata but is also a peaceful oasis with artwork in the form of sculptures scattered throughout.

There is a branch of the museum in Riverwalk Kitakyushu.[8]

Stadium in Kitakyushu, Japan. Mikuni World Stadium Kitakyushu is an association football and rugby union stadium located in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It has a capacity of 15,300, and it opened on 18 February 2017 with a rugby union match. Giravanz Kitakyushu have been tenants since 2017. It has been called Mikuni World Stadium Kitakyushu for the naming rights.

On September 16, 2019 the Welsh national rugby team practised at this stadium in front of a full house – officially 15,300 seated, with more standing. This was a pre-event for the Rugby World Cup 2019 held in Japan.[9]
