Park in Kiryu, Japan. Gunma Insect World Insect Observation Facility in Kiryū, Gunma, Japan is a learning facility for observing the ecology of insects. The building was designed by Tadao Ando, built by Takenaka Corporation with three other firms, and opened in 2005. The facility offers outdoor hands-on experience to allow visitors to observe and learn more about the world of insects.[1]

Art gallery in Kiryu, Japan. The Okawa Museum of Art is an art gallery in Kiryū, Gunma Prefecture, Japan that concentrates on modern Japanese art.

The gallery, which opened in April 1989, presents the collection of the businessman and writer Eiji Ōkawa (大川栄ニ, 1924–2008), who was born in Kiryū, and has about 6500 items. At its core are about eighty works by Shunsuke Matsumoto (松本竣介) and Hideo Noda (野田英夫); there are many works by other artists associated with these two. The gallery also has a hundred sketches by Takeji Fujishima (藤島武二) and two hundred drawings by Toshi Shimizu (清水登之).

The museum has exhibitions, which are not limited to Japanese art. For example, in early 1990 it held an exhibition of Ben Shahn.[2]

The Iwajuku site an archaeological site located in what is now the Kasuke neighborhood of the city of Midori, Gunma Prefecture in the northern Kantō region of Japan with finds from the Japanese Paleolithic period. It received protection as a National Historic Site in 1979.[3]

Kannon-in Temple is a temple of the Toyozan School of Shingon Buddhism located in Higashi 2-chome, Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. The name of the mountain is Suwasan. The main deity is the Bodhisattva of the Holy Kannon. The temple name is Suwasan Kannonin Noman-ji Temple. It is generally known as "Nichigen Jizoson. On the 24th of every month, the temple grounds are lined with stalls that attract many worshippers.
