Kings Pinnacle
Peak in North Carolina. The Pinnacle, is one of the two main peaks located within Crowders Mountain State Park. The other peak is Crowders Mountain. The park is located in the western Piedmont of North Carolina between the cities of Kings Mountain and Gastonia.[1]
Kings Mountain Historical Museum
Museum in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. The Kings Mountain Historical Museum is a local history museum at 100 East Mountain in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. It is located in the former United States Post Office building, a handsome Colonial Revival structure built in 1940 with funding from a Depression-era works program. The building was used as a post office until 1986. The city acquired the building in 2000, and leased it to the local historical society, which has used it as a museum since.
The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.[2]
King Street Overhead Bridge
Bridge in Kings Mountain. King Street Overhead Bridge is a historic overhead bridge located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1938–1939, and is a reinforced concrete Moderne-style rigid-frame vehicular bridge. It measures about 48 feet long and 49 feet wide and carries West King Street over the Norfolk Southern Railway railroad tracks.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.[3]
Mauney Memorial Library
Building in Kings Mountain. Jacob S. Mauney Memorial Library and Teacher's Home, also known as the Mauney Memorial Library and Dr. Jacob George Van Buren Hord House, is a historic home and library located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1923 as a private dwelling and donated to the city of Kings Mountain in 1947. From 1947 to about 1962–1963, the building also functioned as a teacherage for the Kings Mountain school system. It is a two-story, five bay, yellow-brick Southern Colonial Revival-style house. The front facade features a two-story, pedimented tetrastyle portico with stucco-finished masonry columns. It has a one-story rear block added in 1987–1988 and the Harris Children's Wing, a two-level addition of 1999–2000.

Southern Railway Company Overhead Bridge
Bridge in Kings Mountain. Southern Railway Company Overhead Bridge, also known as North Carolina Bridge #220426, is a historic overhead bridge located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1919, and is a reinforced concrete tee-beam vehicular bridge. It measures about 80 feet long and 18 feet, 7 1/2 inches, wide and goes over the Norfolk Southern Railway railroad tracks.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.[5]

Central School Historic District is a national historic district located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It encompasses 52 contributing buildings and 4 contributing structures in a residential section of Kings Mountain. The houses date between about 1870 and 1950, and include representative examples of the Second Empire and Queen Anne architectural styles. Notable nonresidential buildings are the Second Southern Railway Depot, St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, First Presbyterian Church, and Central·High School.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.[6]

West End Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina. It encompasses 100 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in a residential section of Kings Mountain. The houses date between about 1882 and 1955, and include representative examples of Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman architectural styles.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.[7]
