Northwest Arena
Arena in Jamestown, New York. Northwest Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Jamestown, New York, USA. It hosts local sporting events and concerts. It is the home of the Jamestown Rebels junior hockey team in the North American Hockey League.
It has been the home of two short-lived minor league hockey teams: the Jamestown Titans of the North Eastern Hockey League in 2003-04 and the Jamestown Vikings of the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League in 2007–08. It served as the home of the junior hockey Jamestown Jets from 2008 to 2011, also hosting the 2009 UJHL All Star Game, and occasionally hosts training camp for the Erie Otters. From 2011 to 2013, the arena was the home of the Jamestown Ironmen, a North American Hockey League organization; from 2014 to 2018, the Southern Tier Xpress of the NA3HL resided in the arena. Today, it is home to the Jamestown Rebels, another NAHL team. The capacity of the "Arena A" for hockey is 1,900 people; arena management explored expanding that capacity to 3,000 seats to lure a professional franchise, but this proposal was never accepted. An expansion of the facility that took place between 2018 and 2021 did not add any additional seating capacity.
The Arena has recently played host to a number of major concerts including: Kenny Rogers Christmas & Hits Tour, Clint Black, Michael W. Smith, YES & ASIA, Aaron Tippin, Aids in Africa World Village Tour, World Famous Lipizanner Stallions 40th Anniversary, Golden Gloves Boxing, Buffalo Sabres Alumni.
The arena is one of several venues that was utilized for Western New York's hosting of the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. The arena hosted exhibition games before the tournament proper began.
Naming rights to the arena have been held by Northwest Bank since the arena's inception. Until 2016, the arena was known as Jamestown Savings Bank Arena, as the five Jamestown branches of the bank had operated as "Jamestown Savings Bank" since 1998.[1]

Lucille Ball Little Theatre
Lucille Ball Little Theatre of Jamestown is a community theatre company located in Jamestown, New York. It evolved from the Jamestown Players Club and was established as a non-profit corporation in 1936 with the name Little Theatre of Jamestown. The company has its own theatre on East Second St. in Jamestown which it purchased in 1968. Both the company and its theatre were renamed the Lucille Ball Little Theatre of Jamestown in 1991 to honor the actress Lucille Ball, Jamestown's most famous resident. Ball got her acting start with the company's precursor The Players Club and returned in 1945 to perform in a series of skits with the company in Chautauqua's Smith-Wilkes Hall. Throughout her life, she would send the company cash donations as well as costumes from her television and film career. One of her donations, a costume from the film Gone With the Wind is still used by the company.[2]

Lucille Ball–Desi Arnaz Center
The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum, commonly known as the Lucy Desi Museum, is a museum at 2 West 3rd Street, Jamestown, New York. Affiliated with the nearby National Comedy Center, the museum is dedicated to the lives and careers of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. The museum officially opened in 1996 "to preserve and celebrate the legacy of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and enrich the world through the healing powers of love and laughter". Lucille Ball was born in Jamestown on August 6, 1911.[3]

Robert H. Jackson Center
Non-profit organization in Jamestown, New York. The Robert H. Jackson Center is a historical center located in Jamestown, New York, dedicated to the life and legacy of Robert H. Jackson. The Robert H. Jackson Center was established in 2001 and dedicated on May 16, 2003. The Center's mission is "to advance public awareness and appreciation of the principles of justice and the rule of law, as embodied in the achievements and legacy of Robert H. Jackson, US Supreme Court Justice, and Chief US Prosecutor at Nuremberg."[4]

Fenton History Center
Gov. Reuben Fenton Mansion, also known as Walnut Grove, is a historic home located at Jamestown in Chautauqua County, New York. It is an Italian Villa style residence built in 1863. The home features a four-story tower. It was the home of Reuben Fenton. In 1919, the city of Jamestown acquired the property as a Soldiers and Sailors Memorial.
It has been home to the Fenton History Center since 1964.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.[5]

The Wellman Building
The Wellman Building, also known as the Wellman Block, is a historic commercial building located at Jamestown in Chautauqua County, New York. It consists of an 1897 masonry bearing wall structure and a steel frame structure built in 1910. The 1897 building is a five-story, Renaissance Revival brick building. The 1910 addition retains the Renaissance Revival style. The building originally housed a druggist and stationery store on the first floor, with offices on the upper floors.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.[6]

Partridge-Sheldon House
Partridge-Sheldon House is a historic home located at Jamestown in Chautauqua County, New York. It is a three-story Second Empire style residence built between about 1850 and 1867, and substantially renovated and enlarged in about 1880. The structure features a Mansard roof with patterned and polychromed slate, decorative eave brackets, and an imposing Mansard-roofed front porch with ornamental iron cresting. It was the home of Porter Sheldon.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.[7]
Jamestown Armory
Jamestown Armory is a historic National Guard armory building located at Jamestown in Chautauqua County, New York. It was built in 1932 for Company E, 174th Infantry Brigade. It consists of a Tudor Revival-style administration building with an attached drill shed. It is one of 12 extant armory buildings designed by State architect William Haugaard.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.[8]
Euclid Avenue School

It is a two-story, rectangular brick structure built in 1911 and enlarged in 1920 and 1956. The structure combines Neoclassical features and proportions with elements of the Spanish Mission and American Craftsman styles in an eclectic composition that is characteristic of early 20th-century architectural fashion.

Located in the district is the separately listed Wellman Building. Other notable buildings include the Arcade Building, Odd Fellows Lodge, Bank of Jamestown, Hotel Samuels, Hotel Jamestown, Chautauqua School of Nursing, Jamestown Telephone Company, Maddox Building, First National Bank, Pennsylvania Gas Company building, Chautauqua National Bank, Palace Theatre, Allen's Opera House, and the former Broadhead Worsted Mills.
