Everglades Laundry
Building in Everglades, Florida. The Everglades Laundry is a historic site at 105 West Broadway in Everglades City, Florida.
On September 22, 2001, the site was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The wayside marker describes it as the Old Laundry Building, and it was completed in 1928, serving in the capacity as a community laundry building. It became the clubhouse for the "Everglades Women's Club" in 1965, when it was purchased from the Colliers.[1]

Old Collier County Courthouse
Courthouse. The Old Collier County Courthouse is a historic two-story concrete and stucco courthouse building located in Everglades City, Florida. Designed in the Classical Revival style, it was built in 1926 by Barron Collier, who developed Collier County and for whom the county was named. In 1962, the county seat was moved to East Naples and a new courthouse complex was built there. The building later served as the Everglades City Hall.
In 1989, the Old Collier County Courthouse was listed in "A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture," published by the University Press of Florida. The courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 3, 2013.[2]

Bank of Everglades Building
Edifice in Everglades, Florida. The Bank of Everglades Building was a bank in Everglades City, Florida, United States. It is located at 201 West Broadway. On July 15, 1999, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The Bank was founded by Barron Collier in 1923 when the new County was established and moved into this dignified edifice in 1927. The building was designed by William O. Sparklin who was also the architect of the Collier County Courthouse (now Everglades City Hall) and the Everglades Laundry (now the Museum of the Everglades).
The business moved to Immokalee in 1962 after the County seat relocated to East Naples and the Building was used as a boarding house or bed & breakfast.
It is now being renovated by the Everglades Society for Historic Preservation[3]
