Limesmuseum Aalen
The Limesmuseum Aalen is an archaeological museum with an attached open-air site in Aalen, Baden-Württemberg. The museum is a branch museum of the Archaeological State Museum of Baden-Württemberg and also the largest museum on the Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes, which is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The museum stands on the site of the largest Roman equestrian fort north of the Alps. It reopened in May 2019 after two and a half years of renovation and closure with a newly designed permanent exhibition and energy renovation.

Mining museum
The Tiefe Stollen is a visitor mine and healing gallery in the Braunenberg near Aalen-Wasseralfingen. The mine was previously used as the Wilhelm I iron ore mine.
From 1608 to 1939, iron ore was mined there with temporary interruptions. During this time, the underground labyrinth grew to 6 km. Today, the most interesting tunnels, shafts and passages are open as a show mine and for breathing cures (speleotherapy).

Jupitersäule
The Jupiter Giant Column of Hausen an der Zaber is a dedicatory monument to Jupiter and Juno, which a Roman citizen had erected on his estate in Hausen an der Zaber around the year 200. During an excavation in 1964, the almost completely preserved remains of the column were recovered and transferred to the collection of the Roman Lapidarium in Stuttgart.
The monument is considered "one of the most beautiful, largest and most completely preserved of its kind", and "the ornamentation of the shaft in such rich design is unique". Casts of the reconstructed column have been placed in Hausen, Stuttgart, Köngen and Güglingen.

St.-Johann-Kirche
St. John's Church, also called St. John's Church or St.-Johann-Kirche, is a Protestant church in Aalen. Named after St. John the Baptist, the church is located in the St. John cemetery just outside the east gate of the former Roman fort of Aalen and below today's Limes Museum. Quite a few Roman spolia were used to build the north and west walls.
